1.University of Calicut

           The University of Calicut is the largest University in Kerala. Established in the

 year 1968, it is the second university to be set up in Kerala. The University aims to

 nurture excellence in education and research in its catchment areas of Northern

 Kerala, historically consigned to the periphery of Kerala’s academic map. 

2.Cochin University of Science &Technology

            Cochin University of Science and Technology is a state government-owned

 autonomous university in Kochi, Kerala, India. It was founded in 1971 and has two

                       Kannur University was established by the Act 22 of 1996 of Kerala

 Legislative  Assembly. The University by the name “Malabar University” had come into

 existence earlier by the promulgation of an Ordinance by the Governor of Kerala, on

 9th November 1995.The objective of the Kannur University Act 1996 is to establish

 in the Kerala state, a teaching, residential and affiliating University, promoting the

 development of higher education in Kasargod and Kannur revenue Districts and the

 Mananthavady Taluk of Wayanad District.

       The Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) is one of the pioneering

 Sanskrit Universities in India in teaching, research and innovations. The University

 was established in 1994 in Kalady, Kerala. The foundational aims of the University

 Kerala University of Health Sciences is a medical university in the city of Thrissur in Kerala,

 India. The  university is located in 75 acres on the Government Medical College, Thrissur

 campus. The university was   established on the basis of Kerala University Health Act 2010.

8.Kerala Agricultural Univeristy

Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) is the primary and the principal instrumentality of

 the  state in  providing human resources, and skills and technology, required for the

 sustainable development of its  agriculture, defined broadly encompassing all production

 activities based on land and water, including crop  production (agriculture), forestry and

 fisheries through conducting, interfacing and integrating education,  research and extension

Central University of Kerala is one of the 15 central universities established under The Central

1.Kerala kalamandalam

   Kerala kalamandalam is the premiere public institution in India preserving the artistic

 heritage  of Kerala through rigorous training and performance. Imparting systematic training

 in  Kathakali, Mohiniyattam, kutiyattam, Panchavadyam, Thullal, Mridangam, Carnatic music

 and  their sub-divisions such as vocal music, instrumental music, make-up and costuming

 constitute the curriculum of kalamandalam, which has been functioning as a deemed to be
